I recently visited Drift Beach Bar & Grill , and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience! The meat, especially the pata negra and the wagyu, was of the highest quality and melted in my mouth. Every bite was a burst of exceptional flavors, enhanced by the unique cooking method in the Josper oven. Additionally, the bread served was fantastic—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly complementing the dishes. The cocktails were also excellent, adding a delightful touch to the meal. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming. I highly recommend trying this restaurant to anyone who loves quality meat and fine dining. I can’t wait to return!

The staff here are exceptional. The mixologists and the restaurant floor manager in particular. Thank you for your wonderful hosting. We stayed 4 nights at the hotel and sat sipping drinks here every night. We didn’t feel the need to try somewhere else. I would come back to the Marriott Khao Lak just to enjoy Drift bar again. Kudos to the staff. Thank you. Also prices were very reasonable.

Extraordinary good food (especially the desserts from the special menu of Chef Angela were absolutely over-the-top). Truly a perfect place for having a special dinner in a relaxing atmosphere.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Drift Grill Restaurant in the JW Marriott in Khaolak, Thailand, and I must say, the service was truly exceptional! The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and cared for. However, one staff member in particular stood out - Kate. Her dedication to providing outstanding service was genuine and heartfelt. She consistently exceeded our expectations, anticipating our needs and making sure we had everything we required. What struck me most about Kate's service was her willingness to go the extra mile. The entire team at the Restaurant deserves recognition for their hard work and commitment to excellence. However, Kate's extraordinary service truly made our dining experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a restaurant where you'll feel valued and cared for, look no further than this Restaurant - and be sure to ask for Kate if you experienced any issue.

We dined at Drift while staying at the JW. The black onyx filet was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The ceviche was also superb. Overall one of the best meals we've had from start to finish anywhere in a long time. We also did a cocktail making class there with Pim and Angie. Awesome smiles, very patient and a joy to learn from. They have an excellent cocktail menu that I would put up against any bar in DC. Ever heard of Gin infused with Tuna? Or Nipa palm fat washed Remy? Their house made shrubs and tinctures are unreal. They bring a ton of flavors and techniques to their cocktail game. Don't let the amazing sunset views trick you into thinking this is just another beach bar. It's THE BEST beach cocktail bar, period. Definitely a 10/10!!!
